simplifying complex live cargo transport
Our livestock transportation software combines increased visibility and control with streamlined planning to reduce complexity and maximize margins when handling live cargo.
Designed specifically to increase efficiency and improve animal welfare, AMCS Livestock Planner helps minimize stress to animals by reducing transport times and improving disease control.
With effective route mapping and real-time route flexibility, we ensure you have the tools to minimize challenges in livestock transportation, driving productivity and eliminating costly delays.
Improve efficiency to meet tight collection and delivery schedules when transporting live cargo. Helping you avoid delays and unscheduled rest stops in order to boost profits in an industry with narrow margins.
Increase agility with automated route planning and flexible scheduling solutions. Utilizing one-click optimization to sequence multiple stops while accommodating slaughterhouse or farm constraints.
Optimize animal welfare and simplify documentation for safe cross-border transport. Ensuring vital time-sensitive health certification can be shared digitally for optimum traceability and disease control.
With AMCS’ solution you can plan loads much faster and with more flexibility than you can without it. I believe that carriers as well as Danish Crown will experience great savings on planning and driving time, and time is money in this business.
planning optimized for flexibility
With automated route planning and real-time scheduling solutions, AMCS Livestock Planner helps you manage the unique challenges of handling live cargo to maximize efficiency and minimize welfare concerns.
Flexible planning helps reduce delays and optimize last-minute changes so you can quickly add farms to a collection or delivery schedule, avoiding complications such as offloading animals when travel time limits have been exceeded.
Built-in logic also helps you transport animals in the right order to improve disease control with sophisticated decision support to highlight the potential impact of any changes, including cost and welfare implications.
Meet urgent transport demands and respond to tight collection windows by scheduling additional orders with on-the-fly re-optimization. This dynamically updated planning allows for proactive ETA messaging to customers.
Meet truck capacity restrictions and tight collection windows dictated by animal growth with co-operative scheduling to avoid slaughterhouse backlogs and ensure adequate unloading space.
Smart and precise modelling simulation helps to manage variables and assess consequences during animal transportation including scheduling welfare rest stops if travel time limits are exceeded.
Manage, store and share cross-border health certifications, many with a limited time window that can be impacted by transportation quality and efficiency.
Connect seamlessly with drivers, sending route lists direct to their mobile device and receiving status updates in real-time regarding unforeseen complications.

Decreased planning time5
Cost reductionDanish Crown, one of the world’s largest pork exporters, receives 14 million pigs a year in Denmark alone. In 2016 Danish Crown acquired a transport planning system from AMCS and made it available for all of their transporters. The goal was to reduce transport costs, have a real-time overview of the transport and to ensure a stable supply of pigs.
