With AMCS EHS Management, Miba has a single interface connecting all processes, which helps to break down silo mentalities and reach every single member of staff. This has been particularly effective in relation to hazardous chemicals where the software allows all employees to access safety data sheets in a variety of languages so they can find up-to-date information quickly at any time. Individually configurable inspection and approval processes also record the use of hazardous chemicals and ensure they are limited to specific applications and persons. Other departments benefiting from increased transparency include Miba’s purchasing department, which uses AMCS software to check which staff members are authorized to order certain materials.
