About the role: The EHS Sales Overlay Specialist will work alongside the sales team to leverage expertise in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) solutions. This role is integral to driving sales performance and enhancing customer relationships through in-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, technology, and best practices. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who collaborates effectively with internal teams and helps clients understand how our solutions can meet their EHS needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver against a personal SaaS ACV revenue quota in an overlay sales role

  • Collaborate with sales representatives and teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the EHS market.

  • Develop top-of-funnel pipeline required to achieve the EHS quota by partnering with marketing and sales on outbound campaigns.

  • Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including product presentations and demonstrations tailored to customer EHS requirements.

  • Develop and customize proposals that address client-specific EHS challenges and align with regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand EHS trends, legislation, and competitor offerings to inform sales strategies.

  • Train and educate sales teams on EHS products, solutions, and the regulatory landscape to ensure high-level competency in customer conversations.

  • Partner with customers to identify their EHS pain points and develop tailored, innovative solutions that enhance safety, compliance, and sustainability.

  • Lead the technical GTM strategy with System Integrator Partners, aligned to the sales and marketing objectives revenue objectives.

  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including conversion rates, pipeline management, and overall EHS solution sales growth.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns focusing on EHS solutions.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in a sales overlay role, preferably within the EHS sector.

  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, demonstration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to interpret data and market trends.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and drive results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in EHS (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP) is a plus.

  • Previous direct sales experience in EHS products or solutions.

  • Familiarity with EHS management software or technologies.
