At its sole production site in Loßburg, Germany, Arburg manufactures a range of plastics processing equipment including electric, hybrid and hydraulic injection molding machines and additive manufacturing systems. The family-run business, which was founded in 1923 and now employs around 2,000 people, is focused on resource-friendly and energy-efficient production. Testament to its efforts, the company has been certified to SO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards since 1998, while in 2012 its efficient use of energy was certified to ISO 50001.

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) processes can be complex. As obligations to produce evidence and documentation increased, Arburg needed a solution to manage the rising volume of data more easily and consistently, enabling it to document all actions and audits. Thanks to the AMCS system, Arburg is now equipped to do just that. Automatic calculation of indicators using the data recorded significantly reduced the workload for Arburg’s environmental officers.
