about ISP Marl

ISP Marl employs roughly 250 people at the Marl chemical park in the northern Ruhr area. As a subsidiary of the US chemical company, Ashland Inc., ISP Marl runs the biggest production plant of ISP (International Specialty Products Inc.) outside the United States. At its 40,000 square meter site, the modern chemical plant operates two production lines for specialty-, filter- and industrial chemicals.

faster, more effective risk assessments

For working areas, equipment and activities, ISP Marl now uses AMCS EHS Management to generate risk assessments and safety instructions, including information about safeguards, first aid, risks and disposal. Thanks to the standardized procedures afforded by the software, these documents are always up-to-date and easy to maintain meaning redundancies and multiple edits are a thing of the past, which saves time and money. Furthermore, the software also helped to identify synergies between the two sites ensuring risk assessments for hazardous chemicals are now better coordinated between the two production plants and each site doesn’t have to reinvent the wheel, ultimately providing a sustainable solution for long-term safety and profitability.

With AMCS we have a centralized and solid tool, where all data is clearly and simply structured and all documents are systematically managed.
