Miriam Holsinger

Miriam Holsinger has worked in recycling and waste reduction for over 20 years and has been at Eureka Recycling for 17 years.  She currently sits on the board of Reuse Minnesota.

In her tenure at Eureka, Miriam played a key role in pioneering Zero Waste Events in the Twin Cities, developed and implemented waste audit protocol, and developed reports and tools that advanced public space and institutional recycling.

She is a national expert on data strategies and analysis in recycling sorting facilities and is on the frontier of the application and opportunity of Artificial Intelligence in recycling.


Miriam has worked in multiple places along the packaging and product supply chain and has experience with a variety of cooperative, social enterprise alternative values-based business models.

Geoff Aardsma

Vice President Solutions, North America, AMCS

Geoff is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the AMCS Solution Suite to meet the needs of our customers and an ever-evolving market. Prior to this role, he led the AMCS Professional Services team in North America to ensure successful end-to-end deployment and maximum adoption of AMCS platform and solutions for our customers. Geoff started his career with WM in regulated and special waste and post-collection and worked with teams focused on recycling, organics, and sustainability consulting. He also has start-up experience bringing container sensors and optimization software to commercialization. Geoff has a BA in Biochemistry from University of Colorado – Boulder, MBA in Sustainable Management from University of Colorado – Denver. He was named a Waste360 40 Under 40 in 2017. 

Evan Schwartz

Evan has 25 years of experience in the waste, recycling, and commodities industries. At AMCS, Evan is responsible for leading and shaping the vision of the architecture and high-level functional components of the AMCS Platform based on industry and technology trends and customer needs. Prior to his role at AMCS, Evan served as the Vice President of IT Baywood Technologies.

He holds a Master’s in Computer Science and is earning his Ph.D. at Northcentral University.
